Speaking to Ziggo Sport, Lewis Hamilton has defended Valtteri Bottas. The briton believes his teammate is underestimated. “Valtteri does not get the recognition he deserves, because he does a great job. He is an incredibly fast driver.”
“I think he is better than much of the current grid,” the world champion continues. “Not only in his way of driving, but even more so in his mental attitude and approach. “It is precisely in that aspect that Bottas impresses Hamilton. “ Being a driver is more than just driving, it’s not just about practicing. It’s about how you prepare and the people you surround yourself with, and he’s great at that. ”
